Join us as we return for a special one-off event on June 21st at Circular Library for a cozy few hours of crafting, chatting, and creative reuse with the community. Bring along any art or craft supplies you no longer need for the swap table, and pack a small project to work on while we hang out together.
We can’t wait to get crafty with you again.

We are passionate about the power of upcycling and the positive impact it can have on our planet. We believe that every small step towards reducing waste and reimagining the potential of discarded items is a step towards a more sustainable future.
Our community is made up of passionate individuals who share a common vision: to inspire and empower the next generation of creative minds to take upcycling to new heights. We believe that your unique perspectives and innovative ideas have the power to transform waste into something extraordinary.
We also host an online marketplace called Remnants where our community comes together to buy and sell in pre-loved arts and crafts supplies. We are a small, women-owned business based out of Los Angeles, CA.

CIRCULAR LIBRARY, a circular fashion collaboration platform located in Venice, CA, embodies the principles of circularity and sustainability. The store’s offerings extend beyond merchandise, including upcycling workshops, inspiring art installations, and narratives promoting sustainability.

Our swap is considered a free-for-all. This means that whatever you bring will be considered a donation, and anyone who attends—and also donates— can take from the donations.

Donation Policy:
Acceptable Donations
We accept clean, reusable arts and crafts materials, including but not limited to:
- Fabric remnants and textiles
- Yarn, thread, and embroidery floss
- Paper (cardstock, scrapbook paper, etc.)
- Paints, brushes, and art supplies (non-toxic only)
- Beads, buttons, and jewelry findings
- Tools and small equipment (e.g., scissors, rulers, cutting mats)
- Miscellaneous crafting items (e.g., ribbons, foam pieces, craft kits)
Items must be:
- In good, reusable condition.
- Free from mold, pests, and strong odors (e.g., smoke or mildew).
Items We Cannot Accept
To ensure safety, we cannot accept:
- Hazardous or toxic materials (e.g., oil-based paints, solvents, adhesives with toxic warnings).
- Electronics (e.g., glue guns, lamps, or devices requiring batteries/power).
- Large or bulky items like sewing machines
- Materials contaminated with dirt, pests, or hazardous substances.
- Broken tools or equipment
- Large fabric rolls, unless pre-approved
- Non-craft-related items (e.g., household goods, beauty products, electronics)
