Ever wanted to know the difference between a toad and a frog? Come and join us for a session about our amphibians on site!
About this Event

Walthamstow Wetlands is well known for its amazing wildlife. The birds, the bees and all the trees, but what about the amphibians on site...?

There is a lot to learn about the interesting lives of amphibians in the UK and a few of them can be found at Walthamstow Wetlands! So, come and join us at this workshop where you can find out more about these amazing creatures.

The workshop will be made up of a short talk on the biology, ecology and threats to amphibians, followed by a walk around the wetlands to try and find some of the species covered in the talk.

One of our visitor engagement rangers, Lira, will be hosting the workshop and looks forward to welcoming you on site.

This workshop is for over 18s and children over 12 (accompanied by an adult). Joining instructions will be sent out prior to the event.
