About this Event
Commissioner Jim Gibson and Clark County Department of Parks and Recreation at Wetlands Park are excited to announce Wetlands Art Day on Saturday, March 21, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free, all ages event will include Plein Air painting throughout the Nature Preserve, adult and youth activities, poetry, and live music. Participants will enjoy free street corn from Buddies Golden Munchies, while supplies last. Families, artists, and community members of all backgrounds and abilities are invited to participate in this fun and engaging event where art meets environmental education.
This event includes a Call for Artists: painters are invited to sign in as early as 9 a.m. to paint en plein air in the scenic Nature Preserve. Painters should bring supplies. All participating artists will be invited to submit artwork for the Wetlands Park 4th annual Plein Air Exhibit, May through July of 2026 in the Spotlight on Nature Gallery in partnership with Clark County Public Arts Office.
