About this Event
Join us for this family-friendly event, where kids and parents will learn alongside each other how we can create safer homes for our families, cleaner air for our communities, and a brighter future for our planet at age-appropriate activity stations. This event is appropriate for elementary & middle school aged students and their families.
Attendees will also tour the unique and beautiful wetlands on a walk led by Grassroots Ecology. Bring binoculars to watch the birds; we will also have some extra binoculars on hand to lend.
Local organizations will provide resources and information about healthy and sustainable living. Food will be provided, and there will be a drawing for prizes.
If you are able to, we encourage you to walk, bike, ride public transit, or carpool to the event. Parking is limited on site.
