Are you a leader or resident of East Palo Alto?
Join SVBC and Live in Peace on a city infrastructure ride on Thursday, October 24th from 1:30-3pm.
We'll be pedaling roughly 5 miles at an average of 10-11 mph, on city streets and bike lanes when available. We will be stopping in different locations to discuss improvements we'd like to see. This ride is appropriate for e-bikes, bikes, tandems, recumbents, trikes, and bikes with trailers. Youth are welcome to join this ride as long as they can ride confidently and safely without training wheels, but keep in mind we'll be stopping to talk a lot!
We'll begin gathering around 1:30pm and leave shortly after checking in and doing introductions.
We'll regroup regularly, with no one left behind. Together with city staff, we will discuss what we like about East Palo Alto infrastructure, and what can be improved. After the ride, we'll arrive back at Live In Peace.
We recommend that all participants bring water, a snack, layers, sunblock, and a spare tube or a flat kit.
