I will open sign up for the JUNE 2026 WET felting rug class,hands on right here on my place .Once you sign up,unless camping at local campgrounds you book your room in mercersburg inn or any place of your choice.
You will be supplied with a small fleece to wet felt
You are welcome to bring your own to wet felt while here.
Supplies you need.
Mosquito netting.
Small bottle dawn
Bar soap dollar general olive oil special cheap
Swimming pool noodle
Solar bubble swimming pool cover
( Cheap in case you cut it)
Cheesecloth ( white and if wet felting dark fleece bring black)
You will take left over supplies home and instruction sheets and your finished items
You may also make a fringe scarf if you want .
You can piece together different color fleeces too
I have tables,outside heater for water,watering cans ,wash tubs, extra stuff
Old clothes and wellies or waterproof shoes if you want
You will get wet
Bring mini dog brush if you want I will show you different ways to brush out dry locks and fluff and reset.
Your fleece needs to be in the shape of the sheep or at least held together
Once you master this you can easily be shown loose lock technique.
It's very physical. I will show you how to stich weak points pull out spine sections
I have the roving for backing so no worries
I have felted using sheep's fleece too as backing
Lunches,snacks drinks provided.
You have lots of historical things around . There àre a few great historical places like James Buchanans home that has a great restaurant in it I can reserve an area for us .
It's a two day fun time workshop. I have a lot of supplies I need to get. Plus we bring in water since I am on well.

We have sheep,ducks,turkeys,bunnies,chickens.
At anytime a duck will fly over . If you are afraid of farm smells,dusts,bugs,bees,animals and birds this is not for you
We do keep ducks away .I don't want animals under my feet either
If bad weather will be in garage no worries.

We may be doing battlefield tours too but you are free to do your thing .
