Hearts never go out of style—especially when they’re handmade!Join us for this creative and relaxing workshop where participants will create a charming felted heart decoration using the traditional techniques of wet felting and hand embroidery.
During the first hour of this three-hour session, participants will work with fine Merino wool to wet-felt their heart shape, learning how fibre transforms through water, soap, and gentle movement. In the remaining two hours, the felted heart will be brought to life with embroidered details, including flowers and butterflies, using four basic embroidery stitches suitable for beginners.
This workshop is perfect for anyone looking to explore fibre arts, try something new, or enjoy a mindful, hands-on creative experience. Participants will leave with a finished decorative heart and the skills to continue embellishing fibre projects at home.
Please bring an older towel for the wet felting portion of the workshop.
