Join Westside Swing Friday, March 20th in New West at Centennial Lodge in Queen's Park (FREE dance lesson with Royal City Swing included, beginners and non-dancers welcome!). Swing out with friends you know, or come alone and make new ones on the dance floor—no partner or swing dance experience needed!

We are an 12-piece* band based in New West. Our swing sets feature:
• Big band-era jazz standards
• Jump blues, swing revival, and rockabilly classics
• Swing dancer-approved tunes for Lindy Hop, Balboa, and Collegiate Shag that span genres and decades from the 1950s to today (rock, blues, soul, R & B—and more!)
Westside Swing Band Fun Fact:
Our band includes three generations of Kennedy-family musicians: Father-daughter combo Gary (Drums and Vocals) and Amber (Vocals), and our youngest member Graeme (second Trombone)!
About the Venue:
Sapperton Community Hall (318 Keary Street, New Westminster (formerly Sapperton Pensioners Hall)) is one block from Sapperton Skytrain Station (pay parking on Columbia, free parking on Keary Street (watch for signs) and limited parking behind the hall).
