This exhibit features original oil paintings and prints by the Schaefer/Miles collaborative husband-and-wife painting team based on their travels as touring artists. Join the discussion of contemporary oil painting in the Neo-Impressionistic Realist Pop style and see the artists combining two styles on one canvas. The dynamics are unbelievable: two artists, husband and wife, with different styles and approaches on and off the canvas. One is left-handed, and the other is right-handed, so the brush strokes cross over one another to create an entirely other-worldly effect of light on the canvas! Wendy started her artistic journey at the UW Eau Claire and graduated from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Kevin graduated from the Maryland Institute of Art. Learn about two lives dedicated to their artwork and the full-time careers of two artists.
