Meet at 9:15 for a 9:30am walk. Bring some cash.
We are selling tickets for our third BTG (Bridging the Gap) volunteer run greyhound adoption service raffle. We are raising funds for food and items greyhounds need as they transition from racing to couches. 3 tickets for $5. Prizes are two hampers (pictures on our FB page) Hope you can help!! Raffle drawn at the great Global Greyhound Walk on Sunday 28th September (starts at 9:30 FYI).
We'll meet at the playground in Kirkcaldy Reserve, near the corner of Grange Road and Kirkcaldy Avenue.
We will walk north along the Grange lakes to Fort Street (by Westminster Village Aged Care), cross the river and return (looping back to the starting side about half way back). Approximately a 3.2km walk, about 45+ minutes.
Afterwards, the coffee drinker can walk or drive to the cafe about 800m east of the walk along Grange Road.
Hosts: Karen and Molly look forward to seeing you. We won't be walking though, Molly has a corn and is waiting for an operation date :( Karen and Dene will walk with you all. :)
