The Grand Finale of the Western Sydney AI Innovation Summit & Hackathon
12 weeks. 12 events. One final night. Watch Western Sydney's boldest AI innovators pitch their projects — and we crown the winners!
Since February 2026, Western Sydney's innovators have been learning, building, and pushing the boundaries of what AI can do for local communities and businesses.
Over 12 events — from AI upskill workshops to AI Innovation for Housing and Healthcare design thinking sessions to hands-on hackathons — builders, coders, designers, and founders came together to tackle real-world challenges using AI.
Teams that will form at the Hackathon weekend (10–12 April), will build working solutions addressing housing, healthcare, and other community challenges. On 30th April eight (8) finalist teams will take the stage to pitch and demo the AI projects they've built.
This is more than a competition — it's a celebration of Western Sydney's growing AI innovation community. The community present on the day will vote to decide who wins the prizes. VIP votes serve as tiebreakers.
Prize Pool — $2,000
Funded by Hackathon ticket sales — every ticket purchased directly supports the innovators on stage tonight.

3rd Place: $300

About the Summit
The Western Sydney AI Innovation Summit & Hackathon is a 12-event series running February – April 2026, powered by WSTI (Western Sydney Tech Innovators) and supported by Investment NSW. From AI upskilling workshops to weekend-long hackathons, this series brought together Western Sydney's community to build real AI solutions for real community challenges. The Grand Finale is where it all comes together.
