The Western Slam Event is a dynamic showcase of basketball talent, scheduled to unfold from November 28 to November 30, 2024. Anchored at the renowned ENMAX Centre and Lethbridge College, this event promises to be a monumental occasion for both the basketball community and the Southern Alberta region. From November 28 to 30, four dynamic NCAA teams will engage in six intense games over three action-packed days, competing in the ENMAX Centre.
The 2024 Western Slam participants are:
From the Conference USA - Coach Pettway and the Kennesaw State Owls
From the Costal Conference – Coach Skerry and the Towson University Tigers
From the Big West Conference – Coach Turner and the U C Irvine Anteaters
From the Mid America Conference – Coach Senderoff and the Kent State Golden Flashes
Tentative Schedule:
Thursday - game one – Kennesaw vs U C Irvine
Thursday – game two – Towson vs Kent State
Friday – game one – Kennesaw vs Towson
Friday game two – Kent State vs U C Irvine
Saturday- game one – Kennesaw vs Kent State
