About this Event
The Western Mass Section of BSLA invites students, landsape architects, designers, teachers, makers, and our all in our larger landscape architecture community to a start-of-year Social! Classmates, colleagues, friends, ALL ARE WELCOME.
Join us to celebrate September and all that comes with it.
The Social will take place in the Design Building at UMass, 6-8pm.
Say hi to old friends and meet someone new. Welcome students back to studio, enjoy a building tour, linger after the Zube lecture, and/or help prep for PARKing Day.
Food and drink will be provided. There is also a cash bar (21+).
We'll end the evening by making final preparations for PARKing Day. If you're interested/able to lend a hand, please do.... or just come and hang out! We can't wait to see you.

PARKing Day takes place globally on Friday, September 20. All over the world, parking spaces will be transformed into mini-parks for the day. This year's theme is Native Plants.
At UMass, the student BSLA chapter will be transforming two parking spaces on Thatcher Road, along with activities like native plant info, coloring pages, and cornhole. Join us! Sign up to help with UMass PARKing Day here.... or just stop by and say hello.
