It's a go! Save the date for the Westbend Neighborhood Block Party October 18, 1-4 PM. The Cristina Poleacovschi/Scott Feinstein household and Amy Erica Smith/Tibi Chelcea households will do the major planning this year, though I'm sure many hands will be welcome to help make light work as we get closer.We've been able to reserve the city's block party trailer. And yes, the fire truck will come out for the kids! They've also granted permission for street closure from 4816 Westbend Drive to the deadend where they're building the turnaround.
If there's a serious problem with any of these plans, I assume we still have time to make changes. Cristina's and my households will get save-the-date flyers into everyone's mailboxes as soon as she's back from India.
