Singers and music lovers! All are welcome to our next edition of West Vocal Jam featuring Mississauga’s celebrated vocalist and performer Julia Juhas! This event was created to support vocalists in an encouraging, laid-back environment. All levels welcome. Join us at West Vocal Jam on Monday, September 29 at 7pm at the Crooked Cue in Port Credit. Our featured vocalist, Julia Juhas is a dynamic artist who has performed alongside celebrated artists including Hilary Swank, John Travolta, Louise Pitre, Sean Cullen, and Michael Therriault.
We have some distinguished musicians including JUNO Award winner David Field on bass with Toronto’s celebrated Pianist Peter Hill on keys.
Due to demand, singers are asked to email [email protected] to pre-register to have a guaranteed performance spot. ALL ATTENDEES are welcome to pay-what-you-can in lieu of a cover charge. Suggested donation of $10-$20.
Singers - bring 2 copies of your charts or lead sheets for the band. Please note – NO SHEET MUSIC or multiple pages.
West Vocal Jam is created and presented by Heather Christine. This event is proudly supported by the Port Credit Community Foundation, the City of Mississauga, the Mississauga Arts Council and the Crooked Cue.
The purpose of the event is to provide a welcoming, encouraging community space where we can sing, learn and jam for the love of music!
The Crooked Cue is located at 75 Lakeshore Rd E in Mississauga. Kindly be advised this venue is not wheelchair accessible.
