Join the West Springfield community as we gather to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.Memorial Day is a time for us to pause, reflect, and show our gratitude for the freedoms we enjoy today because of the selflessness of our fallen heroes. Our annual ceremony will be held at the Veterans Memorial Park on the Town Common, a site dedicated to those from our own community who answered the call of duty.
What to expect:
A solemn speaking program featuring local officials and veterans.
Wreath-laying ceremony to honor the fallen.
Musical tributes and the playing of Taps.
A community gathering rooted in respect and remembrance.
This event is open to all residents, families, and visitors. We encourage you to bring a lawn chair and join your neighbors as we pay tribute to our veterans.
