All families very welcome to join us at West Runton beach from 11am, as the tide is predicted to be going out then 💚There are many bellamites and other fossils to be found on this beach aswell as a great place to search rock pools and paddle, feel free to do as you want 💚
Would be great fun to bring along....buckets, bat and balls, spades, picnic, blanket, anything you'd like to the beach! If you have any fossil/sea creature/rock pool books, please bring them along!
There are toilets, a carpark (usually £4 all day or you can park in nearby village and walk to the beach for free) and coffee shop.
Meeting place on the beach off to the right off the slope. You'll see us all. 💚
From 11am the tide is predicted to be going out and 1pm ish lowest tide is predicted, so this should give us all times explore! There's also amazing walks at the top offliffs too which you may like to explore.
All families/guardians with children and babies of all ages very welcome. Parents/Guardians responsible for their own children at all times 😀 Please make yourself aware of tide times and supervise your children at all times near water. NO LIFEGUARD IS PRESENT.
Climbing on or being close to the bottom or top of the cliffs can be dangerous and destroys the cliff face which has so many fossils in, so please do respect them and we will keep away from them.
This event is run by families for families, so please feel free to also bring along anything you'd like to contribute, all is appreciated and makes these events so special 😊
If heavy rain or strong winds predicted.. we will rearrange, so please check this event page before you come.
