West Pier Presents.. 'Rising' (previously Rising Stars) is a curated grassroots showcase in a proper club environment at WaterBear The Venue on Brighton seafront. However, this is not a club night, it is live music first, with a DJ keeping the energy up between sets and closing the night properly.You are getting three 30 minute live sets from emerging WaterBear linked artists, plus Bloodl3tter playing house and liquid drum and bass in between acts, then finishing the night with a full hour long closing set. All for the cost of a pint.And it is all for a great cause. Every penny of profit from this event is being donated to MIND Brighton and Hove, helping fund vital local mental health support for music artists and anyone experiencing mental health challenges.It is something close to our hearts. It affects most of us, directly or through someone we care about, and this is our way of putting something back into the community while putting on a proper night out.The Funktion One sound system does the rest, crisp detail, real punch, and the kind of clarity that makes every track and every vocal land exactly how it should.Featuring:Every Day Saints - electronic pop they call occult pop, still developing their sound at WaterBear, with 2026 set to be a strong year for their growth.Static Ella - atmospheric electronic pop with awesome vocals, WaterBear alumni bringing a live set that pulls you in and holds you there.
