About this Event

Discover West Fairmount Park this season with Fairmount Park Conservancy's first-ever Program Pack. From historical landmarks to beautiful trail systems to iconic cultural institutions -- West Fairmount Park has something for everyone! Learn about its unique history, explore its vast trails, and connect with fellow park-lovers through a series of three programs, focused on nature, wellness, history, and more.
By registering for Program Packs, participants receive:
--a $10-20 savings versus registering for programs individually
--a Fairmount Park Conservancy swag bag
--program discount codes, emailed out a few times a year, for additional West Park programs
--priority registration for future 2024 Program Packs
Program Packs are offered each season and contain three distinct programs on three separate dates. Programs are not interchangeable and by registering for the Program Pack, you commit to all three programs on the dates/times listed. See below for the three programs being offered as part of our Winter Program Pack and make sure to read the 'Important Information' section below before registering. Registration for the Winter 2024 Program Pack ends on Saturday, February 24 (the day before the first program) OR whenever all spots fill -- whichever comes first. Space is limited so make sure to register soon!
TICKET PRICE: $30 for three programs (listed below)
--Sunday, February 25 from 11:15 AM-12:15 PM: Greenhouse Yoga (inside at the Fairmount Park Horticulture Center)
--Sunday, March 2 from 9:00 AM-12:00 PM: Relics and Ruins: Weird West Park (outside, meeting at Belmont Plateau)
--Saturday, March 16 from 9:00-11:30 AM: Footsteps of the First People: Guided Hike + Meditation (outside, meeting at Belmont Plateau)
**Please note: These programs are NOT interchangeable with other dates/times that each program is offered. By registering for the Winter Program Pack, you commit to these programs on the dates/times listed above.

  • By registering for the Program Pack, you commit to all three programs on the dates/times listed above. This is the only way to receive the $10-20 savings. If you are not interested in all three programs, you can register for the individual programs on our events page.
  • A pre-event email containing important information on location, parking, etc. will be sent the day before each program. This information will also be in the email received after registering. However, no other reminder emails will be sent out so please make sure to write down each program's date, time, and location.
  • There are a limited number of Program Pack spots available so please register early. Registration ends on Saturday, February 24 OR when all spots fill -- whichever comes first.
  • Click on the program links above to find out more about each program.
  • Hikes are roughly 2-3 miles in length and are over mainly hilly trails (moderate exertion). Please dress for the weather and wear good hiking shoes.
  • Programs are appropriate for adults and mature adolescents (minors must be ticketed and accompanied by a guardian).
  • Bring water and a snack to programs (drinking water is not available in the park).
  • For the outdoor hikes, unfortunately, there are no bathrooms available along the routes so please plan accordingly. (Indoor bathrooms are available for Greenhouse Yoga.)
  • Hikes will leave a few minutes after the scheduled start time. Please arrive at the departure location at least five minutes early. We cannot guarantee that latecomers can join after the group has departed.
  • For Greenhouse Yoga only: Please bring your own yoga mat. The floor of the Horticulture Center is similar to an outdoor surface. You may want to bring something to place under your yoga mat (both for padding and to keep your yoga mat clean) or be prepared to clean your yoga mat after the class because it will get a little dirty!
PARKING/GETTING THERE: Please see above for program locations. There is plenty of free parking available in the park. As always, never leave valuables in your car!
