Join West of Scotland IOSH Community to explore CDM duties, failures and prosecutions in an interactive briefing and knowledge quiz!
About this Event

As one of the most critical pieces of UK health and safety legislation, CDM sets out detailed duties, consultation requirements, and communication standards for all notifiable construction projects. Yet, despite its importance, there continue to be notable failures and prosecutions for non-compliance.

This informative briefing and knowledge-based quiz will challenge how much we, as safety professionals, truly understand about the detail and practical application of CDM. Come test your knowledge, share experiences, and deepen your insight into effective CDM compliance across every stage of a construction project.

This is your opportunity to expand your knowledge to enhance your professional journey. This event plans to cover the following IOSH competencies: Principles of health and safety and other legislative frameworks (Technical), Health and safety governance (Technical) and Knowledge management (Core) at Implement and Understand Level.

The event is open to members and non-members. If you have dietary, accessibility, or other requirements, please contact us at [email protected] in advance.

This information will be shared with the venue that you are attending to help ensure staff are ready to assist if you need it.

As part of IOSH charitable objects, we offer this event free of charge. As we have limited spaces, we kindly ask that you inform us as soon as possible if you are no longer able to attend.
