West Oakland Tree Planting - Raimondi Park (Saturday November 29th)

What to wear & bring - day of event
-PLEASE NOTE: All volunteers must be registered via eventbrite and sign a waiver form by the day of Tree Planting (November 29th).
-Be prepared to get soil and other earthly residue on your attire.
-Suggested attire: Clothing you would normally wear for outdoor gardening (e.g., hats, sunscreen, sunglasses, close-toed footwear.
-Gloves and shovels will be provided.
-Bring your own water bottles. There is a filling station across the street.
Accessibility
-Look for the OPRF pop-up tent to register and sign-in for the day's activities.
-Please note: Tree Planting sites are spread out throughout West Oakland. Therefore, carpooling with other volunteers or driving between sites may be necessary for some volunteers.
-Volunteers will be lifting trees up to 50 pounds.

-Street parking is available in nearby neighborhood of event.
-0.8 miles walking distance from West Oakland BART Station.
