About this Event
In partnership with Gallery TPW, BAND Gallery is thrilled to help welcome Contemporary And (C&) to Toronto this October!
During the week of October 22, the C& Cyclopedia will host a series of launch events, engaging the Toronto arts community in conversations about accessible digital archival practices and their connection to the arts of Africa and the Global Diaspora.
As part of the launch programming, guest curator Sarah Edo and a Black curatorial delegation will lead a tour of Between grain, dune, salt and sky at Gallery TPW. The program will also include a visit to Daniel Faria Gallery to meet exhibiting artist June Clark, followed by a walk to BAND’s house museum at 19 Brock Avenue, currently under construction, for a special hard hat tour.
*Please note that the BAND hard hat tour will be limited to three people at a time, and steel-toe boots are required.
