Tromsø's most fun & social dance club?Join us for the new West Coast Swing semester - classes starting October 20th!
Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to improve your dance skills, we have something for everyone.
Newcomer classes (7 weeks) will be held every Monday from 20:00 to 21:00, followed by social dancing from 21:00 to 23.00.
No prior dance experience is required, so come and have fun while learning to dance!
Time and place:
LHL Huset (Storgata 132A) - right next to Solseilet
Mondays 20th of October until 1st of December.
Schedule:
18.00: Level 3
19.00: Level 2
20.00: Level 1 (newcomers)
21.00: Social dancing
Prices:
7-Week course - 20th of October until 1st of December
-Non-member: 900 NOK
-Member: 750 NOK
-Student: 450 NOK
Semester Pass - includes workshops all semester and social dancing
September 2025 - December 2025:
- Semester pass upgrade from 7-Week course: 650 NOK (non-members)
- Semester pass upgrade from 7-Week course: 550 NOK (members)
- Student pass upgrade from 7-Week course: 300 NOK
- Arctic Westies Membership (Autumn semester): 200 NOK
- Social Dancing: Free for course participants
Semester pass benefits:
- As a semester pass holder you're able to challenge yourself by participating on the sidelines of higher-level classes than the one signed up for. While you won't be an active part of these classes, you can practice on your own or with a partner (also from Level 1) without disturbing the class. This helps you to learn more and catch up with experienced dancers faster without hindering the main participants of the Level 2/3 classes.
Arctic Westies Membership benefits:
- Membership provides benefits throughout 2025 such as discounts on courses, private lessons, and certain events/weekend intensives
- Voting rights within the club

Important note:
- COUPLE SIGN-UPS immediately guarantees a spot at the workshop, so although you can sign up alone, we encourage you to sign up with a partner to secure your spot!
- People signing up with an OPEN DANCE ROLE will also immediately be guaranteed a spot. You will however be assigned whatever dance role is required to improve the lead/follow balance for the entire 7 week course.
