About this Event
Welcome to the November West Belfast Small Business Roundtable with Éadach founder Sara O'Neill. Join us at Cultúrlann McAdam Ó Fiaich in the heart of West Belfast for the elevnth in our series of informal breakfast gatherings. Our guests are either founders of companies or involved in growing businesses. We limit attendance to just 18 to ensure everyone has a real chance to engage with our guest speaker.
Born and raised on the north coast, Sara returned home to C`astlerock, Co Derry after 15 years in Belfast, where she studied fashion and textile design at the University of Ulster. In Belfast, Sara built up a stellar reputation in the Irish fashion, advertising and art industries, working as a stylist and an illustrator. During those years she was heavily involved in the Belfast punk scene, and much of the ethos of the scene has stayed with her and influences her work and business.
Returning to the coast in 2014 brought back many of the stories her granny told her as a child, and combined with a changing society, and a new appreciation for the landscape she grew up in she realised how important these stories are to the identity of all who call this island home… the link between us, our history and the land.
You can see more about Sara and Éadach here. She is on Linkedin here.
The West Belfast Small Business Roundtable was established by Máirtín Ó Muilleoir and Peter Dixon in October 2024 to boost West Belfast enterprises by providing networking, learning and business development opportunities.
The Roundtable is the pre-eminent business forum in the west of the city.
