Cellist and songwriter Ben Sollee returns to West Art on April 19 for a special solo matinee in The Sanctuary. With just a cello, a voice, and a story, Ben has a rare ability to hold a room — thoughtful & funny, with a captivating sincerity. His work has been featured on NPR and in The New York Times, and he’s earned an Emmy for his original scoring. We’re thrilled to welcome him back for an intimate afternoon of songs and connection- get your tickets and plan to join us!What to expect at the show:
>> Doors will open at 2:30 pm. The show will start at 3:00 pm.
>> Tickets are $20 in advance, and $25 at the door if not sold out. As always, we’re proud to present an all-ages show!
>> Parking is available on the street around F&M College. We suggest finding a spot on the park side of Buchanan Ave, Race Ave, or College Ave (North of Buchanan). Thank you for helping us be good neighbors!
>> Format: This will be a seated show in The Sanctuary. Our space is ADA accessible, and we will do our best to accommodate any specific needs.
>> If you haven't yet discovered the magic of the West Art Coffee⚡Bar, now's your chance! We're open from 7 am-10 pm daily, with a full and delicious espresso bar menu, along with a lovely selection of beer, wine, and cocktails, plenty of N/A options, and some tasty bites from our favorite local bakeries. Something for everyone, all day long! Come hang out before the show and experience it for yourself!
