From Wessex Sinfonietta - News Flash :- "Dear Friends, As many of you already know, the next concert by Wessex Sinfonietta will be on Sunday 16th March at 3:30 pm at our usual venue of the Royal Victoria Chapel, Netley, SO31 5RA where we are the resident orchestra. We will be playing a wonderful programme of:

The orchestra is larger than usual numbering 45 players and includes 3 trombones and two instruments never before heard in a symphony: piccolo and contrabassoon. Both these masterworks vie for the title of best-known symphony... and you get to hear both of them in one concert.
I am attaching a flyer which gives further details. Tickets are already on sale through orchestra members and on TicketSource so don't delay; my bet is that this concert will sell out. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful Royal Victoria Chapel on 16th March.
