Join us on Tuesday, April 15th at 6:00pm as local living historian Nic Skalicky brings his extensive knowledge of life in the 1800s to his presentation “The Life of a Mountain Man.” Skalicky, company commander of the popular Platte Bridge Company, which depicts Wyoming’s state history from the 1820s to the 1880s, will bring his collection of skins, tools, and extensive knowledge of the mountain man trade to his presentation.
The presentation is free, family-friendly, and open to the public. It will take place in the museum’s Africa-Arctic Room. For more information, call 307-235-2108.
The Werner Wildlife Museum, located off the Casper College campus at 405 E. 15th Street, is free and open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday.
