?BASIC EVENT RULES?
– This is a FAMILY FRIENDLY cypher, so please no marijuana or alcohol, and since this is a place that appreciates the culture, please clean up any trash you leave or we will not be allowed to do this again. Also NO FIGHTING of any kind will be allowed. You WILL be asked to leave.
--NO MUSIC REQUESTS. We custom build a playlist of edited, clean songs from various genres to ensure all styles of dance are welcome and represented in the WeOnFyre Cypher; while we do allow songs to be sent to us before the events for consideration, DURING THE EVENTS, WE DO NOT ACCEPT REQUESTS AND WILL NOT ALLOW OTHERS TO LINK UP TO THE SPEAKERS. For our cyphers that have DJs, requests will still not be taken. NO EXCEPTIONS.
– ALL MUSIC WILL BE EDITED, this is a family-friendly event, and families usually do come with small children, as well as, community supporters who provide funding for our outreach, classes, other events, and also to appreciate the culture.
– SHARE THE CYPHER, no lockouts, performances, blocking or shrinking the cypher will be allowed. We ask that the cypher remain in a semi-to-full circle to allow onlookers, cameras and other viewers to see the dancers on stage without obscured views. We also ask that cinematographers and photographers refrain from blocking other cameras or interfering with the cypher, as we would like any and all dancers to be free to move about the dance space. The idea is to encourage, inspire and display the original energy and talent of the HipHop community in its raw form, so no showcases or staged performances are allowed at this time.
– CLEAN UP ALL TRASH, and leave the area nicer than you found it. once again, no smoking, marijuana or alcohol will be permitted since this is a FAMILY-FRIENDLY event, and doing anything disruptive such as profanity, fighting, using illegal substances, etc. will most likely result in misrepresentation of our culture and a permanent banning of the use of this space. We intend to properly represent the HipHop community, let’s keep it that way.
