Come and join us at Welton Library and Community Hub on Saturday 6th June, for a day filled with words, books and activities.
10:30am - 12:00pm - Children’s story time and craft at Welton Library and Community Hub - Join us for a fun children’s craft activity alongside storytelling, themed around springtime!
1:30pm - 3:00pm - Writing Workshop with Gillian Poucher - Gillian will guide you through the process of 'The Craft of Fiction’ during this 1.5 hour workshop. Gillian will consider what helps and hinders us in our writing and offer tools on how to begin. She will also share her insight into how to construct/plot a story. There will be time for writing and feedback.
The workshop is for beginners and more established writers.
3.30pm - Silent Book Club at The Nook - This is a silent book club where we will sit for an hour reading our own books and then you have the option to talk about the book you are reading or just listen and maybe find a new book to read. Limited spaces available, collect tickets from Welton Parish Office or call 07832175867.
All day - A Scavenger Hunt - Collect your free scavenger hunt sheets at the Welton Library and Community Hub.
