Go on an exciting invertebrate hunt through the gardens at Rosemoor!Today we will find out about bees. Children will make a bee finger puppet; decide if their bee has a long tongue or a short tongue and then take it around the garden looking for bee food (nectar) and see what other animals we can spot on the way! At the end of the session, we will read the Bumblebear story together and sow some seeds to take home and grow. There may even be time to learn the waggle dance!
Our Welly Walk adventures are specifically for preschool-age children - each session has a different theme.
Suitable for children ages 5 years and under, each session has a different theme and includes a garden walk, craft or planting activity and a story. Activities will go ahead in all weather, so please dress accordingly – booking is essential.
