Try your local cycle routeBuild confidence riding in the city on a guided bike tour designed to help you get comfortable with local routes and street changes. You will practise key cycling skills, learn how to use new cycling infrastructure, and discover interesting features along the way.
These relaxed, supportive rides are organised by Wellington City Council and led by the experienced instructors from Pedal Ready.

All rides start and finish at Switched On Bikes on the waterfront, near Waitangi Park.

This ride is ideal if you:
🚴 Know how to ride but are not yet cycling in the city
🚲 Already cycle but want to build confidence
🛣️ Want to learn how to use new or upgraded cycling infrastructure
Open to riders aged 18+, or 13+ if accompanied by an adult.
