Join us for our monthly literature review for March 2026. We will be reviewing the second half of the Yoga-Sutra of Patanjali translated by Chip Hartranft.Discussion will cover Book 3, Book 4, and the Afterward (pages 63-136). Vibhuti Pada (Book 3) discusses the extraordinary powers attainable by practitioners when we can calm the mind and dissolve the ego. The Kaivalya Pada (Book 4) discusses liberation from attachment and the purified mind. We will conclude with special notes on The Yoga-Sutra in today’s time.
It is not mandatory to read the text to attend, it is only recommended. You only need to bring an open mind and an open heart.
