This is a Free - Community Event and Registration is Required to Participate!
Raise Diabetes Awareness around education and the importance of prevention and access to timely, high-quality care. Wear Something Blue if possible!

Agenda
Time 6:00pm till 7:30pm CST
This is a leisurely and easy one (1) mile walk with many rest stops along the way.
This is an In - Person Event
6:00pm - 6:30pm - Meet and Greet at the Pavilion near the parking lot for Check-in, Networking & Pre-Walk Stretch.
Note: You can walk alone or with a buddy or two. Registration is required for all adult attendees and participants.
6 :30pm - 7:15pm - Walk the easy designated path for the Wellness Walk & Talk - There will be signs to follow for the Walk & Talk Path
7:15 pm - 7:30 pm
After your walk, return to the Pavilion at the Start of Trail for the Post-Walk Stretch.
The host will lead you in a basic stretch, upcoming Walk & Talk information, and closeout remarks. Optional: Group picture

Join us for a refreshing evening filled with movement and wellness inspiration! Our Family Friendly Wellness Walk & Talk event is designed to connect families and promote well-being. You are welcome to bring your children. This event is for those seeking healthy living, both physically and mentally.
How to plan for this event?
Arrive well rested and fueled. 5-10 minutes early for opening announcements and questions. Feel free to tote: water bottle, towel, or sun protection aids
May I invite my walking buddy(ies)?
Yes, of course. The more the merrier! There is no cap. However, all attendees must register. You are welcome to bring your children and registration is not required for children under 17.
Are there bathrooms onsite?
No, there aren't any bathrooms, however, there are local businesses nearby that have bathrooms available. Plan accordingly.
Is this event rain or shine?
We know the season will bring us both with a moment's notice. However, this event will not occur in event there is rain or wet pavement to protect attendees from slippery surfaces or potential falls.
