About this Event
The holiday season, a time for joy and togetherness, can be particularly challenging for those who are grieving. The familiar sights, sounds, and smells can evoke feelings of sadness, loss, and emptiness.
Join us on Wednesday, December 4, at 6:30 p.m. at the IIPC for a cup of tea and a conversation with Father Aidan McAleenan, as he shares compassionate insights and practical strategies for navigating grief during the holidays.
From Banbridge, County Down, Father Aidan has been the pastor of St. Columba in Oakland for the past sixteen years. He brings a wealth of experience and a gentle understanding of loss, offering hope and encouragement for anyone struggling during this poignant time of year.
Father Aidan will chat about:
• Coping with grief during the holidays
• Understanding the complexities of grief
• Communicating your needs to others
• Honoring loved ones during the holiday season
Whether you are personally grieving or supporting someone who is, this event offers a safe space for connection and healing.
