Calling all carers - are you a carer living in East Sussex?
Do you support someone (an adult aged 18+) who couldn’t manage without your help – perhaps a partner, friend, family member, or neighbour? If so, our free 6-week WRAP Course for Carers offers a welcoming space just for you. Join other carers in a supportive group where you can pause, connect, and focus on your own wellbeing.
On this FREE, in person, Wellness Recovery Action Planning (WRAP) Course you can…
- Discover wellness tools
- Create a daily wellness plan
- Identify triggers and early warning signs
- Learn about action planning for times when life gets challenging
- Explore crisis planning
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Share experience and learn from others
- Focus on your wellbeing
- Be supported, valued, and respected in a safe space with experienced facilitators, Lucy & Molly
This course "gives you a chance to look at your wellness from a new perspective. The concept of having a plan for my wellness had never even entered my mind before taking part in this course. About the course
This is a structured 6-week course where each session builds on the last, supporting connection, trust, and shared learning. We understand carers may occasionally miss a session, but drop-in attendance isn’t possible, and the group closes to new participants after Session 2 to maintain a safe, consistent space.
When & where is this course taking place?
The course will be held at the Chapel Rooms, St Peters Church, Seaford.
The sessions will take place over 6 weeks on Mondays from 10:00am to 1:00pm as follows:
Session 1 – 18 May 2026* followed by a one-week break - no session on 25 May
Session 2 – 1 June 2026
Session 3 – 8 June 2026
Session 4 – 15 June 2026
Session 5 – 22 June 2026
Session 6 – 29 June 2026
Who can attend?
Any unpaid carer, living in East Sussex, caring for an adult age 18+.
