Welcome to The Social Canvas' Wellness Day Retreat! We aim to make this day relaxing, calm and peaceful - We will be providing pretty much everything including all painting supplies/aprons (but maybe don't wear your best clothes!) a delicious nutritious lunch and drinks and a deep relaxation session of yoga/meditation and sound (gong) baths. We are sure you will finish the day at peace and refreshed - just what we all need in today's world!
The schedule and what's included:
10:30am to 12pm - Yoga, Meditation and Sound Bath with Sam from Samadhi Yoga & Wellbeing - Sam is a Certified Hatha and Yin Yoga Teacher and Sound Gong Therapist (CMA Registered) with over 15 years of teaching experience. Her sessions blend mindful movement, breathwork and deep relaxation with the healing vibrations of gongs, bowls and bells. With a background in dance and holistic therapies, Sam creates a warm, inclusive space where you can slow down, reconnect and restore balance — moving at your own pace and receiving the calming benefits of sound to nourish body, mind and spirit.
12:15pm to 1:15pm (time to get changed!) - We will be providing a leisurely delicious and nutritious lunch and drinks (and the naughty bit....there will be cake of course!)
1:15pm to 3:15pm (plus 15 minutes to tittivate!) - 2 hour Painting session taught by our experienced artists Amber and Carol (seated with table top easels) - we are painting a serene, calming lake scene (Calm Waters) - All painting supplies are provided including your completed canvas masterpiece to take home! - we offer a step-by-step painting instruction, so no painting experience is necessary!
*Yoga mats will be provided but please feel free to bring your own plus a pillow and blanket for the relaxation part.
Come with friends, family or just come alone and make new friends. Absolutely no painting experience required.
Total cost is fully inclusive at £75pp
