Welcome to our wellness day, on Saturday December 7th at Glød Yoga in Oslo. We are excited to bring you along for a journey on this whole day retreat in the city. This day will leave you feeling renewed and rejuvenated. In our Winter Edition Wellness Day, we are excited to share with you a day packed with a variety of experiences: VINYASA YOGA * SOUND HEALING * BREATHWORK * PILATES * YIN YOGA *Glød Yoga’s Wellness Day is a collection of day-retreats that is specifically tailored for transformation. This is for you who are curious to yoga, breath and awareness, where you can immerse yourself in our best offerings. You don’t need any experience to attend this day, just come as you are and we’ll take care of the rest! We are excited to see you on the mat.

Schedule and details
10:00-11:15 Vinyasa Flow with Tora: This energizing flow will wake up your body with mindful movement and breath.
11:15-11:30 Short break
11:30-12:15 Sound Healing with Tora: Enjoy our soothing sound healing meditation. Tora plays on Tibetan singing bowls, designed to target each chakra specifically, with unique frequencies and vibrations that you can feel in your body. Tora will guide you into a deep relaxation state in order for you to access your subconscious mind.
12:30-13:30 Homemade lunch (included): Enjoy our homemade, nourishing and delicious lunch. If you have any dietary needs, please let us know in advance so we can accomodate.
13:30-14:15 Breathwork with Tuva: Strengthen your relationship with your own body and inner wisdom. This is an active meditation technique that allows you to connect with your breath and clear energy that is stuck in the body and mind. It allows you to feel where your blocks reside and actively move through them, creating a portal for deeper personal connection and healing.
14:15-14:30 Short break
14:30-15:00 Pilates with Alexis: A mat-based pilates class focuses on building long, strong and tone muscles in a fun and accessible way. We will work on body stability, posture, proper breath control, flexibility and strength. While challenging your balance and core, you can expect to feel this workout from head to toe.
15:00-15:30 Yin Yoga with Alexis: A grounding and comforting yin yoga practice that will open your heart and hips. During this practice, you will be guided into yin positions that will move and release your spine in all six directions, creating a sensation of grounding. Based on Chinese medicine, yin yoga is a tension releasing technique focusing on deep tissue. Alexis uses silence in her yin yoga sessions, in order for you to meditate on your own.

Your Wellness Day host
Tora is the founder and creator of Glød Yoga. She owns the 500m2 yoga studio at Frogner in Oslo and is an experiences retreat host. She has developed her own clothing line, professional yoga mats and equipment under the Glød Yoga brand, and is continuing to develop her wellness business, offering a variety of wellness-tools for the local community in Oslo. Tora is certified in vinyasa yoga & Ayurveda, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Restorative yoga, Pre-natal yoga and sound healing and is a knowledgable teacher. She is the mother of her baby, little Liv. Tora creates retreats and events with passion, focusing on the individual experience. Together with Tuva and Alexis, she is sure this day will be an experience to remember. Welcome!
