If you want to get down and dirty and have a whole lot of fun with your gals, then this unique off-road running event is for you. This event is tailored specifically for teams of 3 women, 13 years of age or older, to take on a 6km adventure full of man-made and natural obstacles – competing, conquering, and finishing together.
Challenge yourself on a course that includes swamp crossings, a spider’s web net climb, crawl under barb wire, beautiful native bush trails, tunnels, hurdles, a climbing frame, and of course, mud mud and more mud!
This is a women’s only event designed for ladies of all ages to get together, dress up in fancy dress and enjoy a fun day out in the mud. The vision behind this event is to bring women together in an environment where they’re able to challenge their abilities, push themselves outside their comfort zones, encourage and empower one another to achieve and accomplish more than what’s often thought possible.
We have some awesome spot prizes up for grabs from Glow Lab and our amazing sponsors, merit prizes, challenging obstacles, a fun atmosphere, hot showers, and free parking. Grab your friends, work mates or family together for a truly amazing experience! We do encourage our competitors to carpool where possible to ensure everyone has a space to park.
The event will return to Camp Wainui, 203 Coast Road, Wainuiomata just 10km from Lower Hutt. Camp Wainui provides a unique opportunity to explore the wonders of a New Zealand native bush environment. Competitor numbers at the venue are limited to 1,000.
