During this immersive, outdoor, multi-sensory learning experience, we will:
Delve into the basic principles of sustainable and ethical foraging and wild harvesting.
Learn the botanical names of plants along with their various common names.
Confidently identify 10-20 wild plants, including details about lookalikes and toxic plants to avoid.
Explore the nutritional and medicinal properties of each plant, discovering how to prepare simple healing remedies at home.
Understand how to prepare each plant for maximum nutrition and flavor, discussing easy recipes and cooking tips.
Uncover the folklore and history of each plant, hearing fascinating and often amusing stories that help us connect with the plants and our ancestors.
