About this Event

Join our short, easy, student-led, guided wellbeing walk from Worcester Foregate St Train Station around the river to boost your mood and connect with nature.

Join us for a Wellbeing Walk and discover the benefits of spending time outdoors while exploring Worcestershire’s Rail Trails.

These relaxed, guided walks start from a local railway station and follow walking routes through green spaces, waterways and countryside. The walks are led by trained student Walk Leaders and are designed to support wellbeing, encourage gentle physical activity and provide a friendly opportunity to meet others.

The pace will be comfortable and welcoming, making the walks suitable for most abilities. Whether you're looking to enjoy some fresh air, take a break from a busy day or connect with others.

As part of these wellbeing walks, you are invited to participate in a research study exploring the impact of the walks on wellbeing. If you choose to take part, you will complete a short questionnaire before and after the walk using a QR code. You are very welcome to attend the walk, even if you decide not to participate in the research. The participant information sheet below explains more about the research:

If you have any mobility or special requirements, please get in touch before signing up. The routes may vary and require traversing turnstiles, steep inclines, and uneven pathways.
