It’s rarely easy being a parent, being a parent-carer takes this to a whole other level! Our normal isn’t their normal when it comes to families. Parent-Carers have additional pressures and challenges that can often push us to breaking point. We give so much and do so willingly, yet we go unrecognised and, in many cases, are unsupported.
Carers Collective really is truly passionate about helping carers. We regularly hear the same stories; tales of exhaustion, worry for the future, fighting to get heard, feeling not listened to, repeating ourselves again and again – and on top of all of that, we have our relationships, families, and work to maintain.
You will come away with the understanding and tools required to boost your confidence and control, cope better with anxiety and stress, strengthen your self-esteem and self-belief and build resilience.
