About this Event
CIPD research has shown that organisations with wellbeing initiatives recruit and retain people more effectively. In Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes, we have access to a shared Public Health service whose staff work at no cost with employers to improve wellbeing. Their monthly bulletins provide guidance on major health issues, for example supporting staff wth long-term health conditions to ensure they remain in work or return to work.
Organisations can retain the knowledge, skills and loyalty of their staff. While providing practical guidance, they also signpost useful support services and resources. Jilly Albone will explain how they have been working with organisations to improve the health and wellbeing of staff. Their case studies demonstrate positive improvements in productivity and staff engagement, leading to business success.
This will be an interactive session, discussing practical examples as well as sharing good ideas for positive improvements for people professionals at work.
This event forms part of a series under the running title "Building our people and culture toolkit" offering members a range of topical subjects for both generalists and specialists.
