Our next event is one of a series of evenings based around Great American Authors-presented by the vastly knowledgeable, Dr. Mark Margaretten. ‘Fear and Loathing in Ampthill’ is an exploration of the life, times and writing of Hunter S. Thompson-author of ‘Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas’ - his classic road trip through the savage heart of America and the subject of the Jonny Depp film, - and arguably one of the most important writers of the last century and principal pioneers of New Journalism.
Join Mark as he shares his passion for Thompson’s work in the relaxed atmosphere of @find.ampthill while enjoying good conversation and refreshments, on Thursday 13th March, 7-9pm.
