This course is designed to help develop skills and knowledge in holding health and wellbeing conversations. Topics covered include the value of having a wellbeing conversation, the dimensions of wellbeing, how to build trust, how to hold a conversation, how to prepare for challenge and guidance and support.
Learning Objectives
· Confidently have safe and effective wellbeing conversations with the people you support
· Understand the value of having wellbeing conversations
· Recognise how to build trust and hold an empathetic conversation
· Support staff in completing a wellbeing plan
· Be prepared to deal with challenging situations
· Understanding team wellbeing
Target audience:
University Hospitals Tees staff.
If you are a non-medical registrant who is eligible for Continual Professional Development (CPD) funding this course will account as part of your annual allowance for CPD funding.
