About this Event
This workshop will examine what we mean by “psychological resilience” and provide the attendees with tips to enhance their own personal skills.
Using evidence based approaches taken from Positive Psychology, the workshop will equip people with strategies to embed in daily life to help prevent against the adverse effects of stress.
The workshop is informal and uses metaphor and humour alongside real examples of how we can improve not only our own resilience but that of our teams too. This session will be run by Kate Jenkins.

Kate Jenkins
Kate has worked in acute hospitals for the last 18 years, starting out in Cancer and moving into ITU and Trauma. She has worked with hospital staff throughout her career but started a specific role in staff wellbeing after she supported the staff at Salisbury hospital through the Novichok poisonings and then into the Covid 19 pandemic. Kate now works entirely on the wellbeing of hospital staff, splitting her week between Southampton and Salisbury.
