Well-Crafted: Kumihimo

Our free craft workshops in are the perfect artsy excuse to also enjoy a bar or restaurant in Mid-Market. Join us at Rise Over Run, the beautiful rooftop bar at the Timbri Hotel, to explore Kumihimo, the traditional Japanese art of cord making. Grab a craft beer with hand crafted eats, and socialize with fellow crafters.
We've partnered with Workshop SF and artist Bea Bryne () to provide everything you need: materials, inspiration, and instruction. Kumihimo literally translates to “gathered threads”. Choose your favorite colors and combine them to make a unique bracelet or bookmark. A local SF artist, Bea regularly shares her knowledge of UV Resin, Dyeing and DIY Skincare at WorkshopSF and teaches private workshops for parties and fundraisers.
