About this Event
Ory from our Hot Works shop will take students with some existing experience in MiG welding through the changes in process to weld thinner materials, create joints with complex angles, work in thick materials, and discuss working in materials other than mild steel.
the Brickyard Introductory Welding is an appropriate pre-requisite for this class.
Students should wear close fitting clothing of natural fibers (including shoes) and bring hearing and basic eye protection. Welding hoods and gloves will be available for use.

Info: Instructor will demonstrate and discuss working in tricky materials and positions with wire feed, and take questions on application

Practical: Hands-on time
Info: Students will experiment with challenging welding applications under guidance, and can trouble shoot issues.

Practical: Fine tuning and practice
Info: Students will return to the welders, can try using different machines, and will fine tune with guidance in pursuit of good weld characteristics.
