Welcome to Cleveland
Are you new to Cleveland? Recently moved back? Looking to meet new friends and discover the best of the city?
The Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club invites newcomers, transplants, boomerangers, or anyone who has moved to the area recently (ages 21–45) to join the next cohort of Welcome to Cleveland, a one-of-a-kind program designed to help young professionals feel at home, build connections, and fall in love with the city.
What You’ll Get
Exclusive events: Fun, curated experiences that showcase Cleveland’s neighborhoods, restaurants, and culture (all while making it easy to meet people).
Networking & friendships: Build your circle of friends and professional contacts through relaxed, welcoming events.
Insider access: Meet community leaders, learn about volunteer opportunities, and plug into Cleveland’s best resources for young professionals.
Private community chat: Stay connected with your cohort throughout the six-week program.
Events You'll Experience
The cohort experience is designed to help you socially acclimate to Cleveland while building friendships and lasting connections. Each event algins with one of the 20/30 Club’s four pillars: Social, Networking, Philanthropy, and Education. You’ll get a well-rounded introduction to both the city and the community you’re joining. Here’s a look at what’s planned for Cohort 9:
April 11 – Kickoff Brunch (Ohio City)
Meet your cohort, enjoy great food, and break the ice with new friends
April 15 – Happy Hour at The Southside (Tremont)
Sip local brews at Cleveland's original gastropub in one of the city's most historic, creative neighborhoods
April 20 – Cooking Class at Tita Flora's (Independence)
Roll up your sleeves and dive into a hands-on cooking class with your cohort
April 25 – Volunteer at Chair-ity (Goodrich-Kirtland Park)
Give back to the community through a meaningful volunteer experience supporting Chair-ity's mission to give furniture and household goods to recipients who graduate from the foster care system
May 5 – Celebrate at CLE Urban Winery (Cleveland Heights)
Join us for a final toast at our cohort wrap up event. We'll laugh and reflect on our previous events and celebrate the new friendships we've made
BONUS: Complete the cohort and unlock an exclusive discounted professional membership to the Cleveland 20/30 Club!
** You are not required to attend all of the events, but we encourage you to attend as many as possible to receive the most benefit from the program.
