Tailgate Talks at the Town of Fishkill Highway Department in conjunction with Keep Fishkill Beautiful is back for 2026! We are kicking it off on Sunday April 12 at 10am on site at the Highway Department at 2 Geering Way. Margaret Maruschak, Outdoor Educator for Stony K*ll Foundation, will encourage gardeners of all experience levels to welcome spring by exploring the foundations of successful vegetable, herb, and flower gardening. Gardens are within reach for anyone. This session covers key decisions about where and how to begin, along with essential upkeep practices. Current sustainable gardening techniques and the growing enthusiasm for native flowers in recent news will also be explored.
