Join us for a community lunch to kick-off the new year at Rosh Pina, featuring scholar-in-residence Rabbi Deborah Anstandig of the Pardes Institute!The community lunch will take place after a shorter kiddush on Shabbat, November 22nd in the Jewish War Veterans Museum, 1811 R St NW, Washington, DC 20009.
Following lunch, Rabbi Deborah will give a shiur about "Ethics of Empathy: Transcending Us and Them," which will explore the tangled relationships between Sarah, Abraham, Hagar, and God.
